Three 20-somethings, wanting to make our adventures count for something more than just the #grams. Gerard's the lone male, so is naturally (but resentfully) our bouncer and we're making him watch Youtube mechanic tutorials, Hannah's the poor student who travels like she actually has money (30 countries and counting) and Maddy's our camp mum who will try make sure we are on track, keep us well hydrated and find us cheap, probably unreliable places to stay. We are #Arewhanau. We are doing it for two charities close to our hearts.
Team name: Arewhanau.
Mentally and physically strong, the elephant (arewhana in Te Reo) embodies complete wellbeing, our hope for all New Zealanders. We want to represent our New Zealand roots and our value of family (whanau). Elephants are revered in India for their strength and beauty. These elements combined create Arewhanau. Also it's going to be a sick design on our tuk-tuk #tuktukgoals.
